Coronavirus (COVID-19) has now been classed as a ‘pandemic’ by the World Health Organization (WHO) and governments are announcing extensive public health measures. These affect facilities including workplaces and occupational safety and health professionals are playing vital roles helping prevent, contain and delay the spread of this illness. IOSH is supporting this.
Based on best available advice, IOSH is extending its international business travel ban covering staff and volunteers until the end of April at least. All group and branch events before the end of April will also be postponed or cancelled, and we will be working from today with all those affected to minimise the impacts.
