Our Charter, policies and Code of Conduct

Royal Charter and byelaws

IOSH was awarded its Royal Charter in 2002, and from 2005 we began to award Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner status to recognise individual professionalism and commitment to continued learning and development.

Our Royal Charter recognises our pre-eminence, stability and permanence in representing the field of occupational safety and health, and any amendments to the Charter and by-laws require government approval.

Code of Conduct

We like to guide the profession through our Code of Conduct as it helps our members to demonstrate their value and reliability through adhering to high standards.
