West of Scotland Nomination Form

Certificate of merit awards and annual dinner 2020

We’re looking for the unsung heroes who you think should receive the sparkling recognition they deserve. Don’t let their achievements go unnoticed: it could be all that you need to keep the inspiration bubbling and the motivation flowing for them and for your colleagues.

This is the 28th year that the IOSH West of Scotland Branch has awarded Certificates of Merit to people who are not safety and health professionals, but whose individual actions and involvement contribute to driving safety and health in their business.  Don’t miss the opportunity to nominate that star.  We’re now accepting nominations, which will be judged by a committee of safety professionals. The nomination form is below and the deadline for entries is Friday 28 February 2020.

Entry requirements

  • The competition is open to non-safety professionals only. We will not award a certificate to any safety practitioner, whether employed or retired.

  • The nomination can be for an individual or for a group of up to 10 people.

  • Nominations must be supported by an IOSH member.

  • The decision of the Certificate of Merit Committee is final in all cases.

Awards ceremony at the Branch Annual Dinner

Winners of the Certificate of Merit will be invited to receive their awards during a ceremony at our Branch Annual Dinner. Winners will be offered a complimentary ticket.
