Martin Temple CBE, Chair of the HSE followed the above presentation with a talk on the HSE Strategy and how the organisation was helping Great Britain to work well. Martin explained the importance of tackling the causes of ill health, also how an aging workforce might be more prone to health issues. New ways of working and new technology presents challenges for health and safety because of the sheer pace of change and the HSE must remain vigilant to issues on the horizon.
