Mid Shires Branch - letter from the Chair

As Chair of the Mid Shires Branch, I am delighted to introduce our programme of branch meetings for June 2019 to May 2020. We hope you’ll find the programme enjoyable, relevant and stimulating, in helping to ensure that we all create a world of work that is safe, healthy and sustainable.

Our meetings, workshops and other events are open to IOSH members at all levels and anyone interested in occupational safety, health and wellbeing.

Meetings are free, unless otherwise stated. Occasionally workshops or other events may be arranged, in addition to the published programme, and for these there may be a modest charge.

If you’re new to our meetings, you are especially welcome and we hope that you’ll enjoy our friendly environment. Likewise, if you are a visitor or regular attendee at branch activities, we thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you again soon.

If you are unable to attend a meeting, we provide memory sticks loaded with presentations from previous meetings. Please speak to one of the committee when you attend a meeting.

We are keen to include topics which are of interest to you and to this end please contact us with details of any these topics so that we may include them in our review of our annual programme.

As Chairman, I will send out regular emails to members registered to this branch giving you information about events and meetings and any other matters of interest to you as members.

For up-to-date, more detailed information on our meetings and events, please visit Mid Shires Branch Events Page. Meetings and events will also be advertised in Connect.

We look forward to seeing you.

Roger Ward, Chairman.
