The IOSH Food and Drink Industries Group has over 1,200 members working across the food and drink sector.
We provide a range of support for our members and others working in and with the food and drink sector in both large and small organisations.
As part of our work to improve safety standards we:
- Develop resources and practical guides specific to our sector including the national Recipe for Safety initiative.
- Support projects to investigate or address specific safety concerns.
- Organise networking events to maintain the knowledge of those working in the food and drink sector.
Through regular bench-marking across our sector we endeavour to continually improve the safety performance and standards throughout our industry. Check out our group leaflet to learn more about the Food and Drink Industries Group.
The Food and Drink Industries Group also run the Food and Drink Awards on behalf of the Food Manufacturing Forum. The awards recognise outstanding individual performance and original solutions to health and safety problems in the industry.
Please join us!
We're keen to support you in achieving higher standards across our sector. You don't have to be a safety expert to join, just be interested in making sure people stay safe when working in any role across the food and drink sector.
To join the Group, please email the Customer Service team, quoting your membership number, and they will be able to add or change your group. Members can join one/all of the groups as part of the membership fee.
For any other questions, please contact Julie Littlejohns (Relationship Manager).
